This keyring is made with a real spider in it - the Hasselt's Spiny Spider, Macracantha hasselti. The Hasselt's Spiny Spider is a rather unusual looking spider in the Orb Weaver family. These pieces make unique gifts and are great conversation pieces. And as a bonus - they glow in the dark!
All spiders are common throughout much of Asia and are sustainably farmed (they live out their natural lives tended by humans, then their bodies are collected and reurposed). If you choose, you can give these spiders a new home and new purpose.
No spiders were harmed to make these keyrings.
