Deer Antler Slice Valknut earrings

For the viking, pagan, and nature lovers out there... These earrings are made with a slice of real deer antler for the pendants. The antler pendants were sanded smooth and then the viking valknut protection symbol was permanently added. 

The Valknut is Odin's symbol and is often called the "knot of the fallen" as those who die in battle go to Valhalla with Odin. The symbol is a sign of death, protection from death, and a good afterlife.

 ** CULTURAL APPROPRIATION NOTE ** The valknut has and always will be an important symbol in norse and viking mythology and religion. Like so many norse and viking symbols, the valknut is sometimes appropriated by white supremacist groups. Don't let these awful people steal the symbols from our norse heritage for their evil purposes!! When not out raiding, vikings were some of the most diversity welcoming people, often incorporating people from other counties and cultures into their family units or villages. Please help educate others about what norse and viking symbols are actually meant to mean (almost always protection, luck, or other useful things) so that they cannot be so easily stolen by maliciously motivated people. **

The antlers used for the pendant slices are from a White-tailed deer and were naturally shed before collection. 

While I try to match similarly shaped slices for the earrings, they are made from real antlers so each slice is unique.
