These necklaces are made with real bed bugs in them - the Common Bed Bug, Cimex lectularius. The pendant is reversible and only framed in metal so you can view both the front and back of the insects. These unusual pieces of jewelry make unique gifts that are a great conversation piece.
All bugs are recycled from finished scientific projects or came from pest control. If you choose, you can give these bugs a new home and new purpose.
** PLEASE NOTE: The current pendant necklace I have available has color loss on the frame (dark patches where the silver has worn off). See last photo showing pendant edge. This is why it is on sale.**
