Seasonal Help Wanted!
Position: Vendor Assistant
Earthen Gypsy Designs is looking for seasonal help for summer 2024! I have several all a day events coming up this summer and need some extra help at these events. Below are the events I have so far, but there will probably be some additional ones added later. Preference will be given to applicants that can help for multiple events, but if you can only do select events, please still apply. Mostly I just need someone to help mind the booth (assist customers & handle money) during events and then help with packing up. Don't worry - I'll be there with you the whole time. Setup days I really just need help setting up the tent and sometimes hauling if I can't pull up to the site (the rest I can handle myself :) )

These are all long, all day outdoor events. It makes it much easier to have help. We can discuss details further upon interview, but you should have plenty of time to see things at the events during breaks if you want to.
Events:

- (Sun) 9th (9:45am-7pm - minding booth)

- (Thu) 12th (TBD/~1:30pm? tent setup, maybe carrying things from car)
- (Fri) 12th (4:30pm - 11:30pm minding booth)
- (Sat) 13th (10:30am-11:30pm - minding booth & pack up)
Royal Stagg Pirates & Witches

- (Fri) 2nd (evening setup times tbd; mostly just need help with the tent)
- (Sat) 3rd (9:30am-6pm - minding booth)
- (Sun) 4th (9:30am-8pm - minding booth & pack up)
Danish Festival

- (Thur) 15th (setup day, times tbd; tent setup, maybe carrying things from car)
- (Fri) 16th (8:30am-7pm - minding booth)
- (Sat) 17th (8:30am-8pm - minding booth & pack up)
Benefits:
- Plenty of break time during lulls to wonder the festival (at least 1 hour, possibly more if slow)
- Discount on shop items (maybe some free!)

Interviews will be conducted remotely via video call (google meet, zoom, whatsapp, etc.) because I work from home and don’t have an office for you to come to --> please be able to turn on your camera during the interview so we can see each other!
Note for travelers and out-of-town applicants: Some festivals offer on site camping, while others do not. I will be commuting from South Lyon to each event. While I do not have funds to pay for camping/lodging, I do have a guest room that could be made availble if lodging is an issue. You will still need your own transportation though as my car will be stuffed full of product and setup supplies. Please ask if this is something that would be needed.
