Part of my "Scientific Refuse" jewelry line, every piece is unique and handcrafted from real butterfly or moth wings carefully preserved in resin and glass. Each butterfly comes with an identification and short biology or fun fact. No butterflies were harmed to make these jewelry pieces. Most of the wings I use in my jewelry come from scientific experiments, road kill, or have otherwise been found dead. These pieces of jewelry are my way of recycling and repurposing the amazing creatures around us, while trying to inspire further curiosity of the natural world.
